  • UK GDPR transfers

    Personal data reaching a team in India needs a transfer safeguard — usually the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU clauses — plus a data processing agreement.

  • Making Tax Digital

    VAT-registered businesses keep digital records and file through MTD-compatible software, so builds pass VAT data to Xero, QuickBooks or Sage instead of re-keying it.

  • VAT on our services

    Business services bought from an overseas supplier usually fall under the reverse charge, which your accountant accounts for.

  • Cookies and marketing (PECR)

    Non-essential cookies and marketing emails need consent, so sites ship with a proper consent banner.

How much of the working day overlaps with India?

India is 4.5 hours ahead of the UK in summer and 5.5 in winter, so your morning overlaps our afternoon — four and a half to five and a half hours of shared working time every day.

Can a team in India work on our data under UK GDPR?

Yes, with the right safeguards: a data processing agreement and an approved transfer mechanism such as the IDTA or UK Addendum. The system can also run in a UK cloud region with our access limited to what the work needs. Your DPO or adviser should confirm the details.

Can the system send VAT data to Xero?

Yes. Invoices, payments and VAT codes can sync to Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, so your MTD returns come from the same records.

Will our UK company own the code?

Yes. Once the project is paid for, repositories, designs, accounts and documentation are handed over to you.

Do you have a UK office?

No. Our team is in Lucknow, India, and works with UK clients remotely, in your working hours.
