A checkout people actually finish.

Browse, add, pay — on one screen. UPI opens in a tap, cash-on-delivery is confirmed by OTP, and a progress bar shows how close the cart is to free delivery.

What is a D2C shopping app?

A D2C shopping app lets a brand sell straight to customers on their phones instead of through marketplaces. Ours puts address, delivery and payment on one screen, opens UPI in a tap, confirms cash-on-delivery orders by OTP and nudges shoppers towards free delivery to lift the order value.

Built around your workflow: this demo is a starting point — screens, fields, rules and integrations are made to fit your business.

How the system works · how we measured

The demo checkout puts address, delivery and payment on a single screen with no sign-up.

01 · The problem

What problem does it solve?

A D2C snack brand sells on marketplaces and pays a large commission on every order. Its own website gets traffic, but the mobile checkout is five pages long and asks for an account first.

Shoppers drop off between cart and payment, and many cash-on-delivery orders are refused at the door — paid for twice in shipping.

  • Abandoned carts

Every extra step at checkout loses shoppers.

  • Returned COD orders

Unconfirmed orders come back with two-way shipping costs.

  • Small baskets

Shoppers stop at one item when nothing nudges them on.

  • Marketplace fees

Commission on every order that could have been direct.

02 · The solution

How does D2C Shopping App fix it?

  1. 01

    One-screen checkout

Address, delivery and payment on a single screen, with the pincode checked as it is typed. No account needed to buy.

  2. 02

    UPI first

UPI opens the shopper’s payment app in a tap; cards and wallets are one step away.

  3. 03

    COD you can trust

Cash-on-delivery is confirmed with an OTP on WhatsApp, which filters out orders that would be refused.

  4. 04

    Nudges that lift the basket

A free-delivery progress bar and “goes well with” suggestions, plus a WhatsApp reminder for carts left behind.

Should a D2C brand build an app or a website first?

Most brands start with a fast mobile website and add an app when repeat customers justify it. Both can share one catalogue and order system, so nothing is built twice.

Why confirm cash-on-delivery orders by OTP?

An OTP on WhatsApp confirms that the shopper really placed the order, which filters out many orders that would be refused at the door and shipped both ways.

Can the app use our Shopify catalogue?

Yes. The app can read products, stock and orders from Shopify or WooCommerce, or run on its own back-end if you are moving off them.

Do you build for both Android and iOS?

Yes, from one codebase with React Native or Flutter, published on the Play Store and the App Store under your own account.

How do abandoned-cart reminders work?

If a shopper leaves items in the cart, an approved WhatsApp template reminds them after a delay you choose, with a link straight back to the cart.
