01 · The problem
What problem does it solve?
An air-conditioning dealer services 1,800 customers, 600 of them on annual maintenance contracts. Complaints come by phone to two coordinators who write them in a register and call technicians one by one.
Customers call back to ask when someone will come. Service reports are paper, often lost; spare parts used are not billed; and AMCs expire because nobody calls the customer a month before.
Repeat calls
Customers ringing to ask “when?”
Missed SLAs
AMC customers waiting longer than promised.
Unbilled spares
Parts fitted, never charged.
Lapsed renewals
Contracts that quietly expire.
