  • PIPEDA and provincial laws

    Federal PIPEDA covers most private-sector personal data, and Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec have their own laws. You stay accountable for data a vendor handles, so the contract spells out the safeguards.

  • Quebec’s Law 25

    Requires a privacy impact assessment before personal data leaves Quebec, a person in charge of privacy and clear consent. We build the consent and data-request screens.

  • French language

    Quebec’s Charter of the French Language expects French on websites and commercial documents for Quebec customers.

  • Anti-spam (CASL)

    Commercial emails and texts need consent first; forms record when and how it was given.

  • Sales taxes

    GST/HST, plus PST or QST in some provinces, calculated by province at checkout.

  • Accessibility

    Ontario’s AODA expects WCAG 2.0 AA websites from larger organisations; we design to WCAG 2.2 AA, which goes further.

What is the time difference between Canada and India?

India is 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead of Toronto and 12.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of Vancouver. Calls go in your morning, and written updates keep work moving overnight.

Can our data stay in Canada?

Yes. The system can run in a Canadian cloud region — AWS, Azure and Google Cloud all have one — with our access limited to what the work needs.

Can the app be in English and French?

Yes. Every screen, email and document can be bilingual, with users switching language and French shown by default to Quebec customers if you want.

Does our company own the finished app?

Yes, once it’s paid for — source code, designs, accounts and documentation are handed over to you.

Do you have an office in Canada?

No. Our team is in Lucknow, India, and works with Canadian clients remotely.
