The follow-up, without the journey.

Patients book a slot, pay, and see the doctor on video. The signed e-prescription arrives on WhatsApp before they’ve put the phone down.

What is a telemedicine app?

A telemedicine app lets patients book a doctor, pay and consult by video from their phone, then receive a signed e-prescription — following India’s Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. Doctors use their own app to see the queue, run the call, write the prescription and set the follow-up.

Built around your workflow: this demo is a starting point — screens, fields, rules and integrations are made to fit your business.

How the system works · how we measured

The demo runs a full consultation — booking, payment, call and e-prescription — on the patient’s phone; the video call is simulated.

01 · The problem

What problem does it solve?

A multi-speciality clinic sees many follow-up patients from nearby towns. Most travel for hours, wait in the clinic, and spend five minutes with the doctor to review a report.

Doctors try to help on WhatsApp video calls, but there is no booking, no payment record, no consent recorded and the prescription is a photo of handwriting.

  • Long journeys

Patients travel hours for short follow-ups.

  • Crowded OPD

Follow-ups take seats from new patients.

  • Informal video calls

    No booking, payment or record.

  • Unclear prescriptions

    Photos of handwriting on WhatsApp.

02 · The solution

How does Telemedicine App fix it?

  1. 01

    Book and pay first

Patients choose a doctor and slot, pay, and record their consent before the call.

  2. 02

    Video in the app

A stable video call with the patient’s history and reports beside it for the doctor.

  3. 03

    Prescriptions done properly

Typed e-prescriptions with the doctor’s name, qualification and registration number, signed and sent.

  4. 04

    Follow-ups that happen

The next date is set in the call and reminded on WhatsApp.

Is telemedicine allowed in India?

Yes. Registered medical practitioners can consult remotely under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines (2020), which cover consent, patient identification, records and prescribing.

Can doctors prescribe through the app?

Yes, within the guidelines: e-prescriptions carry the doctor’s name, qualification and registration number and are signed before they are sent.

Does video work on slow connections?

The call adapts to the connection, and can fall back to audio, so patients in smaller towns can still consult.

Can it connect to our hospital system?

Yes. Bookings, consultation notes and prescriptions can sync with your HMS, so the patient’s record is complete.

Is the video in the demo real?

No — the demo simulates the call. A built app uses a secure video service inside the app.
