Live demo · Software · Chemists, pharmacy chains & hospital pharmacies

Medicines that sell before they expire.

Every strip is tracked by batch and expiry. Stock that is about to expire shows up 90 days early, the reorder list follows real sales, and the Schedule H1 register fills itself in.

The problem

“Medicines expire on the shelf while we reorder the same brand.”

What is pharmacy software?

Pharmacy software runs a chemist shop by batch and expiry: it bills from the right batch, warns months before medicines expire so they go back to the supplier in time, suggests in-stock substitutes by salt, reorders by real sales and keeps the Schedule H1 register without a notebook.

Built around your workflow: this demo is a starting point — screens, fields, rules and integrations are made to fit your business.

Warning before a batch expires

Before: Found on the shelfWith the system: 90 days ahead

How the system works · how we measured

The demo lists every batch expiring in the next 90 days, by value, so it can go back while suppliers still accept it.

01 · The problem

What problem does it solve?

A chemist with two counters and a godown bills from memory and rack cards. Expiry is checked when someone happens to look at a strip, and returns reach the supplier too late to be accepted.

Customers ask for a brand that is out of stock and walk away, although another brand of the same salt sits on the shelf. The Schedule H1 register is written up by hand after closing.

  • Expired stock written off

Medicines expire before anyone returns them.

  • Lost sales

Out-of-stock brands with substitutes on the shelf.

  • Over-ordering

Reorders by habit rather than by sales.

  • Registers by hand

H1 entries written up after hours.

02 · The solution

How does Pharmacy Software fix it?

  1. 01

Batch and expiry on every strip

Purchases come in by batch and expiry, and sales pick the batch that expires first.

  2. 02

    Ninety days’ warning

Near-expiry stock is listed by value, so returns reach suppliers while they are still accepted.

  3. 03

    Substitutes by salt

When a brand is out, the system shows in-stock medicines with the same salt and strength for the pharmacist to offer.

  4. 04

    Registers kept automatically

Schedule H1 sales record the prescriber, patient and quantity at billing time.

How does it warn about expiring medicines?

Every batch is stored with its expiry date. A near-expiry list shows what expires in the next 30, 60 and 90 days, by value, so it can be returned or sold in time.

Can it suggest substitutes when a brand is out?

Yes. It searches stock for medicines with the same salt and strength and shows their batches and expiry; the pharmacist decides.

Does it keep the Schedule H1 register?

Yes. When a Schedule H1 drug is billed, the prescriber, patient and quantity are recorded, and the register can be printed for inspection.

Can we move our data from our current software?

Usually, yes. Item masters, batches and stock can be imported from most pharmacy and accounting software, so you don’t start from scratch.

Does it work for a chain of pharmacies?

Yes. Each store keeps its own stock and registers, stock can move between stores, and the owner sees all of them together.
