01 · The problem
What problem does it solve?
A 600-flat society has one main gate and a queue of cars every morning. Guards write numbers in a register, wave in familiar cars, and can’t check anyone at peak hour.
When a resident’s car was scratched in the parking, nobody could say which vehicles had come in that evening.
Queues at the gate
Every car stops for the register.
Unchecked entry
Familiar-looking cars waved in.
No record
Handwritten numbers nobody can search.
Guard load
Too much to check at peak hour.
